Today is Kick off.  The  world has waited. The country is ready, let the goals be scored.

Yesterday the fresivities started with an amazing concert at Orlando Stadium in Soweto.  I only wish my favorite South African band “Freshlyground” had been given more than just a few seconds on stage.  They should have been the headliners.  The world needs to see how incredible they are.  Maybe they will feature more in the closing ceremony’s.  Their collaboration with Shakira on the official world cup song “Waka Waka – This time for Africa” is very catchy and fun to listen to.  Take a look at the Video clip of Waka Waka  

From time to time over the next month we’ll feature more on cup.

I was hoping to have a Vuvuzela doodled by today, but that wil have to wait.

Here’s my (non Fifa) doodle for today, I call this one “Watching over”  or “Flying over”, like a plane flying over a stadium.  Reminicent of the flyover at the Rugby world cup final (featured in the movie Invictus).  Enjoy.
