What do you doodle for a day like

“Memorial Day”

To some it is a somber remembrance day to the fallen.

To others is it’s the start of Summer.

Regardless whether you are reflecting or jumping in the pool

it is a day off…. so enjoy!

Sometimes

don’t you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders?

carrying a heavy load?

Well then shrug it off with a laugh

and a doodle!

It’s the start of the Memorial Day weekend.

What I call the official Summer Kick Off

That’s because the pools open

People start heading off to the beach

and the smell of Summer is in he air.

Have a super long weekend.

What inspires each daily drawing?

an idea?  a thought? the sub-conscious?

or is it just pen meeting paper

with no inspiration at all?

I have no idea!

Somehow this one reminds me

of an egg, just waiting to be cracked open

Spring is quickly turning into Summer

We have had a ton of rain

and will be into the 90’s tomorrow.

Butterflies and Bugs may be out

but the heat is definitely on!
