Day 668 – Royal Wedding
How could I let the day of the Royal Wedding of William and Kate go by without a mention. I had to doodle something. I would have attempted a “William and Kate”, but I just have not had time to perfect that. Union Jack (as seen here) too boring to doodle. So I went with the crown for the man that one day will be king. I recall so vividly the wedding of Charles & Diana ( I still have the souvenir deck of cards that I bought that year on a trip to England. They have never been played with.) I recall with great sadness the day we lost “England’s Rose” too. So I had to do something to pay tribute to what will be the Wedding of the decade.
May these two be blessed with happiness and love and learn from those that went before them. It’s a cruel world we live in, maybe the pomp and ceremony will bring joy to many. It’s always fun to celebrate the good things.
Congratulations to William and Kate.
Day 667 – LoveBirds
Aren’t these 2 “lovebirds” adorable
I had doodled them on a the side of a notebook
and then had to recreate them
one more time

Day 666 – Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia
I have always dreaded reaching day 666, something about that number makes my hair stand on end. I just don’t know why. So I looked it up and found that I have “Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia” which literally means “fear of [the number] six hundred sixty-six”) because the number 666 is the Number of the Beast, linked to Satan. The phobia has been further popularized as a motif in various horror films… and I Do not like horror movies.
So am I crazy to have dreaded this entry and I mean really dreaded it…. or am I just being silly. Regardless, I decided not to skip Day 666 and so here is the dreaded doodle of this day.
May we all be safe and make it to Day #667….
I Think we’ll be just fine.
Day 664 – Travels
As I mentioned earlier, I spent this past weekend on a college road trip with my son. Driving over 1000 miles, 21 hrs in the car over a short span of 3 days. We had the best time. I learnt a lot. Having not grown up in the US, getting to understand the college process was quite an experience. The choices, options and opportunities that kids have over here are amazing. We saw 3 similar, yet very different schools and I don’t envy my son at all in trying to make a decision on where he will fit in and have the best college experience.
Today’s doodle reflects the road trip we went on, the countryside we passed along the way, the changes in weather and the overall fun we had.
I am so ready for the next one as long as he doesn’t have me drive to Alaska and back.
Day 663 – Happy Easter
I hope you are all having
a good Easter Holiday
Day 661 – Driving Driving…
After a long day of driving yesterday, we are set to hit 2 schools today and then another 5 hours in the car.
This better be worth it…..
This looks like the map of our trip
Day 660 – Road Trip
I am heading out on a College Road Trip with my son this later today. 1001 miles in 3 days. Should be quite an experience. Hey maybe I will learn something. This is a new adventure for me too. I am sure I will have stories to tell after the weekend.
