Day 1339 – Hacked into!

February 28th, 2013 No comments

I feel so violated

My Tjomies website got hacked.

and I had no clue it had happened until I called about problems with outgoing mail and

tech support said “Did you know your site has been hacked into”

How Rude! (of the hackers, not tech support, they were awesome)

Who would want to hack into a vintage stationery site

(I guess someone in Brazil did)

Any how it is being fixed and will be squeeky clean by tomorrow

Great thing is that the blog got away unscathed….. Phew!

Well this Doodle may be heading downhill (at least the site isn’t)

Day 1333 – Harlem Shake

February 22nd, 2013 No comments

The latest craze sweeping the internet, is the Harlem Shake.  A simple tune that starts of with a solitary performer standing in a room of “seem to be” oblivious people and he-she moves/dances/gyrates solo (usually in some crazy get up with a mask on).   Like today’s doodle.  Then when the beat kicks in and the “Harlem Shake” is announced, the seemingly oblivious folk in the room are quick to jump in and join in the Harlem Shake cavorting.  All in the fun of getting attention.

Believe it or not all the YouTube attention as taken Baauer’s song to #1 on the billboard charts.  Talk about the power of social networking.

Take a look at one example of a group of young men at a youth meeting getting caught up in

Graceful gliding over the snow

Or am I just seeing things.
