Day 359 – For Helen
I spent nearly 6 hours in meetings yesterday. Different sessions at different times, but many of them back to back. Plenty of time to put pen to paper, so I came up with several different doodles which I will share with you over the next few days.
The first was done during the morning’s early meeting. My coleague Helen was enjoying my Art, as we had to wait till late in the meeting to give our status and she constantly gave her opinion of where she thought the doodle was going. I did the whole drawing just with dots. It started off with a few small flowers, but soon became an under the sea scene, thanks to Helens suggestion, that she was seeing Coral in the drawing. At first I was seeing fireworks.
This next one was done later in the day and while we were holed up in conference rooms, the US soccer team sneaked into the next round of the world cup with a 1:0 win over Algeria and the longest match in tennis history was going down at Wimbledon. 10 hrs of pure magic with light suspending play at 59-59 in the 5th set WHAT? 59 -59 and they will have to resume play later today. It was quite a day. I think my doodles reflect that too.
