Great doodle Warren! ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you havea great week!!

  4. October 11th, 2010 at 08:11 | #4

I know u can. I know u can…… Just have fun with it. No doodle ever has to be perfect, it’s what comes into your mind when u have a pen in hand.

  5. October 11th, 2010 at 08:13 | #5

Thanks James. You too. Have a great day. I have received so many compliments on the Art of Day article, for which I have you to thank.

  6. October 14th, 2010 at 11:43 | #6

one question just occurred to me – most of my doodles right now are in a lined moleskine, because that’s what I happen to have with me when I have the urge to doodle. Are those acceptable for the challenge?

  7. October 14th, 2010 at 12:23 | #7

Absolutely. Just take a snap shot and send it to me. I often doodle on lids and tiles and CDs….. When I suggested using a blank piece of paper was more for people that never doodle, to give them a blank slate. I would love to see peoples doodles directly out of notebooks, on the newspaper, anywhere your creative edge comes out.

Thanks for the question and look forward to seeing your lined moleskin doodles.

I’m all over this you can count me in as well! Should be fun.

  9. October 18th, 2010 at 16:27 | #9

very cool….. look forward to receiving your submissions.

  10. October 19th, 2010 at 00:21 | #10

I love this idea, and your doodles & the whimsy. I’m doing the sketchbook project too and when I heard about this I thought right away about a doodle I had done. But then I went to the site where the doodles chosen were posted and I started to doubt if my doodle would work. The ones chosen are really great, they are light hearted and fun. I’m hoping mine gets chosen but if not, I can definately post something different, I love this idea like I said.

  11. October 19th, 2010 at 06:29 | #11

yours will definitely be chosen no matter what it is. The beauty of the doodle is that is can be anything hand drawn, spur of the moment, fun. most people doodle on notebooks, when their minds are elsewhere…. some people draw on other pieces and consider those to be doodles. So please send me what you have…. I will post it. I really look forward to seeing what you have and u can submit more than once….

  12. October 20th, 2010 at 13:40 | #12

SO glad that I could be part of your effort to connect. I am the same way. I love receiving feedback and sharing my creativity with others. That is why I try to respond to comments as soon as i see them and why I started the world challenge to share creativity with others.
Thanks so much and send me more doodles. I would love to see them.

  17. November 5th, 2010 at 08:56 | #17

Doodling has become a recent addiction. I’m participating in the Creative Everyday & Art Everyday Month challenges and find doodles frequently popping up in the work I post on my blog.

This sounds like a great idea. I’m not an accomplished artist but from what I understand it is more about the creative expression so I shall send you my next doodle.

I’ve tweeted about this to help spread the word.

  18. November 5th, 2010 at 09:19 | #18

    Thanks Kat.
I absolutely agree, I am not an accomplished artist myself, my doodles evolved off the margins of notebooks and found a life of their own. It is my escape, and my soul comes through in ever squiggle and swirl. Thanks for the tweet, let me know your twitter address, so that I can follow you. Send in as many doodles as you like, I even want to see the ones that take a few seconds while sitting on the phone.

    All the best
    Warren

My original art, most completed on watercolor paper. I take great pride in the lines I draw, and the spacing between them. With great attention to detail, have spent thousands of hours at my craft over the last 20 plus years. I have sold a numbe of my originals, and am trying to live my dream, although challenging to say the least. I feel that I have my own, unique style, and spend 8 to 10 hours each day on my craft. Thanks for looking, any thoughts are appreciated. Eric (Hawk)

Would you be willing to allow my 45 high school art foundations students to share their beginning line work on your blog? I thought it might be a nice way to have them showcase their work outside of the classroom!

  41. September 14th, 2012 at 00:15 | #41

Absolutely, I will include their work and do a special feature if you like. I would also love to hear their feedback, by leaving comments on the blog of what they like and which style of doodle of mine inspires them
