Introducing a new African Art Series.
I am having fun with these hard at work ladies, you will see them pop up all week in different locations in different doodles.

It’s been ages since I did any object doodles and for those followers that haven’t seen what I did in the past, click on the category “Doodle on Objects” and take a look. An egg, a banana, tennis ball and much much more.
The other day I was munching on a yogurs and was just about to toss the lid into recycling, when it dawned on me that the lid was perfect for a doodle, especially my circular doodles. . . the lid as a pefect center starting point. Before you knew it, I had racked up 6 new Lid doodles or “Lidoodles” So over the next few days I will share them along with some other doodled on objects I have,
Do like skul dooles are now Skoodles, Lid doodles are now Lidoodles, Here are teh first three that I did:
A while back I started this series of doodles that were made up of dots and as I was going through some of my scans last night, I realized that I had never posted any of them. So I thought I would start to share a few of them with you. I need to find them all. They were fun to do and very different to some of the other drawings I have made.
So, if you think I am going totally dotty, it’s just the doodles taking over my mind.
Enjoy, and also look out for my first “Doodle Animation” coming soon, once I figure out how to convert it to a movie file. More on that in the next few days.
Also be sure to follow us on Twitter @thedoodledaily and become a fan on Facebook (the doodle daily is under tjomies.com on Facebook) As our anniversary draws near there will be fun stuff coming up and being a FB fan, you will get the news first hand.
For now…. Here’s Dotty #1
I thought I’d take a break from the wildlife for a short while, but you can bet that the creatures great and small will be back soon. I have an adorable hedgehog that I can’t wait to share.
Today, I wanted to share with you a series I did on the corners of pages. Most of my doodles start in the middle of the page and work their way out. Sometimes, and this happens often in meetings I’ll draw down a margin or on the corner of a page. So I did an experiment, where I only exposed the corners of a sheet of paper and confined myself to that space. I did all four corners separately and this how it came out:
For a closer look at each corner, I have scanned them in individually:
