Day 144 – Unwanted Leaves
Yesterday we addressed “Change” and even though we know change is a coming, there is not much you can do about it. So you embrace it, accept it and move one. What more can you do.
Don’t you hate when you try and do what you think is good and it’s not accepted. I spent a long time on Sunday, raking leaves. Breaking my back in the process and in so doing collected 4 bags full of leaves (the ones I doodled a while back) Well the right thing to do is to recycle them, so I bagged them up and put them out with my plastics and paper. Only to be slapped with a bright orange notice that my leaves are being rejected, because they are not in the correct bags…. They are leaves!!!!
So I thought screw it, i’m just gonna toss them out with the trash (they were in white trash bags already) well NO, the trash man took them out the bins and left them on the curb….. who rejects trash? So now 4 days later I still have my bags of leaves. Does anyone want 4 bags of leaves? What do you think i’d get for them on E-bay. Maybe i’ll post them on craigslist. I’m never raking leaves again!
