Day 218 – Big Day
So today is the day. The day movie lovers the world over wait patiently for. The day the nominations come out. This year for the first time I will have had a chance to have seen most of the movies nominated for best picture and there were some good ones this year. We’ll know bt 8:40 am EST. Then the countdown to Oscar night will begin.

Inglorious Basterds
Up
A Serious Man
District Nine or Nine (this last one is a toss up)
I will have a wrap up of the nominations tomorrow. In the mean time we have a fantastic Doodle for you today. Something Artistic. All this week we will have something with geometric artistic flair.
Not bad, I got 9 oout of 10 right. I went with a brilliant movie about Rugby over a so-so movie about Football….. This is the US. Football trumps Rugby anyday, I should have factored that in. Sorry Invictus Fans. The Blind Side was never even on my radar….
